Safe and potable water supply lies at the heart of relief management and requires a range of equipment to ensure the adequate and continuous supply to those who need it.

Tri-Med can supply all these needs, from the mobile drilling rigs and submersible pumps for the extraction of ground water, to purification equipment for the treatment of well water. Both the range of equipment and the provision of spares are backed up by Tri-Med's technical expertise which will ensure the efficient and cost-effective supply of precious water when and where it is needed.

• Bladder Tanks:
  Tri-Med supplies a range of bladder tanks, made to its own exacting standards. These vary in size from 500 litres up to 250,000 litres, and different models can contain water, fuel oil or petroleum products. In one case, Tri-Med produced units to hold 10,000 litres of vegetable oil each.
  
  Units can be made for static use or mobile use. Mobile units allow for the flexible use of flatbed trucks which can be changed from cargo carriers to tankers in a matter of moments. All units are made from 1 mm thick reinforced polyester fabric and are designed to be resistant to high levels of UV radiation.
  

  All units have separate filling and discharge valves, fitted in different locations for differing usages. Additional couplings can be provided to integrate the tanks into any reticulation system. Handpumps and motorised pumps can be provided to assist with the distribution, of water or fuel.

• Filtration Units:
  A variety of filtration units are available, from in-line filters to full filtration tanks.

• Distribution:
  Multi- tap stands with press-to-serve fittings and 5 metres of flexible hose are available for efficient and effective distribution. Large diameter MDPE piping is also supplied for trunking water from a central point around large camps.
