Tri-Med
is a freight forwarder and air charter broker in their own right.
All freight activities are carried out in-house.
Tri-Med
regularly deliver to many unusual destinations, generally unfamiliar
to other freight forwarders, dealing with all aspects involved in
shipping our clients' goods including co-ordinating onward delivery
with other Tri-Med offices where appropriate.
Our
benefits as in-house freight forwarders include rapid response,
direct control of the goods, from leaving the suppliers' warehouses,
to delivery & distribution on arrival at destination.
Due
to the high volume of freight booked by Tri-Med through shipping
and airlines and hauliers, we have good purchasing power which results
in highly competitive rates which are then passed on to our customers.
Previous
operations include:
- An
airbridge of 100 flights from Russia carrying seed to Armenia
in 1994
- Local
purchase, storage and distribution of maize for a major NGO in
Ethiopia during the famine in 1988
