All victims, whether from earthquake, flood, war or drought, have urgent medical needs. Time is vital when lives are at risk.

Tri-Med supplies a range of kits to suit most requirements. These include :

• WHO Kits:
  These kits are based on the World Health Organisation's recommended basic and supplementary list for the treatment of 10,000 persons for 3 months. The kits are packed in 25 cartons, each serially numbered and with comprehensive details of contents, expiry dates etc on the outside of the carton. 10 cartons contain the WHO basic list of medical instruments, consumable supplies pharmaceuticals. The remaining 15 cartons contain those items on the WHO supplementary list.

• Cholera Kits:
  Tri-Med supplies all needs for the treatment of cholera, including Ringers Lactate, IV infusions, giving sets rehydration treatments.

• Mobile Clinics and Hospitals:
  Tri-Med will assemble clinics and mobile hospitals to meet most requirements. Tri-Med holds standard lists of equipment needed to make up the needs of individual clinics. Provided with our without tenting, it allows an NGO to establish a fully functioning clinic very quickly.

• Hygiene Kits:
  Personal Hygiene is crucial for preventing the spread of diseases in overcrowded conditions. It is also vital to maintain a person's self- esteem in a distressed state. Tri-Med supplies many variants of the basic Hygiene Kit, depending on the individual requirement of the customer. Typically it will contain :
  
  - Tooth Brushes & Tooth Paste
  - Face Cloth & Towels
  - Razors & Shaving Cream
  - Soap & Shampoo
  - Tampons and Sanitary Pads
  - Toilet Paper
  - Deodorant

Additionally, these can include items such as Nappies, Sterilising Solution, Washing Powder and Nit Shampoo.

All kits are packed individually in washbags or larger containers such as waterproof pails that can later be used to carry water.

Tri-Med supplies stocks of infusions for the relief of foul water diseases, such as acute diarrhoea and cholera. These include Ringers Lactate and other IV solutions.

Tri-Med supplies personal hygiene kits, packed for both individuals and families. The Baby Kits provide mothers and carers with nappies and sterilising solutions to further protect these most vulnerable of victims.
